Can environmental catalysts achieve both high activity and stability simultaneously?

More Information
  • Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) efficiently degrade water pollutants, but their catalysts often prioritize activity over long-term stability, posing challenges for sustained wastewater treatment. High activity and stability are thermodynamically conflicting, with active catalysts degrading quickly and raising costs. This paper explores technologies optimizing both aspects, aiming for sustainable, cost-effective wastewater solutions.
