It was founded in Hong Kong, China in 2021 by a group of scientists from many cutting-edge fields. To better serve scientists across various disciplines and regions, we have established offices in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen. This strategic expansion enhances our ability to engage with and support a diverse global scientific community. Our team members, who possess advanced degrees in natural sciences, are adept at aligning with the forefront of scientific research and publishing. We adopt open access model and adhere to international publishing standards and database regulations, including those set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), WAME (World Association of Medical Editors), STM (International Association of Scientific, Technical, and Medical Publishers), OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association), and ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors).

Innovation Press is a non-profit open-access publisher dedicated to advancing academic research and knowledge. We operate autonomously, without relying on government, educational, charitable, or other external funding sources, and we do not accept paid advertisements in any form. Our revenue is generated through Article Processing Charges (APCs) and related activities, which are fees paid by authors to cover the costs associated with the publication process.

Publishing

Innovation Press is committed to the timely dissemination of research findings. Once a manuscript has completed the production process, all accepted papers are published promptly. Articles are made freely available on the journal's website immediately upon publication, with no embargo period, ensuring that readers can access them without any delay. Furthermore, authors receive finalized PDF copies of their published papers, providing them with a permanent and shareable version of their work.

Archiving

Innovation Press ensures the permanent archiving of its published articles through its participation in the CLOCKSS initiative, which provides long-term preservation for electronic scholarly journals.
