The risk of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MASLD) increases significantly with frailty.
There was a significant causal and positive genetic correlation between frailty and MASLD.
Early clinical frailty screening can identify high-risk populations for MASLD before liver damage occurs.
